Glensheen Historic Estate

The Glensheen Estate is a historic mansion on Lake Superior.Built in 1908 the 7.6 acre mansion holds 39 rooms. In 1968, the estate was given to the University of Minnesota Duluth, which still operates glensheen today.

Tour Admission fees vary depending on what type of tour:
Grounds only: Free (5 & under) $5 (6 & up)
Standard Tour: Free (5 & under) $9 (6 to 12) $15 (13 & up) $14 (62 & up)
Expanded Tour: Free (5 & under) $15 (6 to 12) $26 (13 & up) $24 (62 & up)

Hours for the mansion include:
From May 22 to October 25 9:00am- 5:30pm(First tour begins at 9:30am, and last tour begins at 4:00pm).
From October 26 to May 29  9:00am-5:30pm (Monday-Friday), 9:30-3:30 (Saturday and Sunday)
